| RULE 13 - STANDINGS: |
|
|
District standings shall consist
of two separate parts: Wins & Losses and Points Won & Lost. The
primary standings shall be wins and losses. The winning team of each match
shall receive a win while the losing team of each match shall receive a loss.
The secondary part of the standings shall consist of accumulated points won
and lost per match. |

| RULE
14 - TIES (in matches) |
|
|
A. Should a match end in a tie, a
one-ball roll-off shall follow immediately. |
|
|
|
1.
Each team’s first bowler who started the final Baker Format game shall roll
one ball and the team with the highest pinfall being the winner. |
|
|
|
2. If teams are still tied, the
2nd, 3rd, 4th, then 5th bowlers in the lineup shall continue this process
until the tie is broken |
|
|
|
B. Should there be a tie between
two or more teams advancing to the state playoffs, the following tiebreaker
system will be used |
|
|
|
1.
If the teams tied have the same number of wins and losses, the cumulative
points won in head-to-head matches shall determine which team advances. |
|
|
|
2.
If a tie still exists, the team with the most total points won during
district competition shall advance. |
|
|
|
3. If a tie still exists, a
playoff shall be necessary to break the tie. A coin toss shall be used to
determine the host center for the playoff. The playoff match shall be
conducted using the district’s regular season match format. |
